Good evening, I'd like to have her things in the next RVGL Update

- Be able to see the first 10 ghost cars in time trial mode.
- Ability to face 20 opponents.
- To be able to face the same cars that I currently have.
- The Knockout Race Mode

it probably means have the AI to be able to pick a car that the player selected.

the ghost time trial is a nice suggestion though, tho i rather have the ghosts as "per session" rather than "always best time"

Ah. I've understood there was a cheat code for that, but it was disabled.

To be able to face the same cars that I currently have.
If enabled in multiplayer for the host, I think this suggestion could go hand-in-hand very well with the ability to change the car mid-session.

Let me explain :
When we choose the random car option, it gives us a random car, but AI to the same car from us in the race ...
That's why I'm asking for an identical car option

I think you somehow managed to make things even more unclear.

What I initially understood is that you wish to have a feature that allows you to choose a car as you would normally do, and all the other AI cars would have the same car as you. If this is not what you meant, please let me know, so I may move my previous post to separate thread.

In the options, you have a random car option. when we activate it, it gives us a random car but when we are in the game, the opponents have the same car as us ...
In the options, there should be this:
- Random car
- identical car
- Random circuit

Here's what I think:

Competing against more than one ghost car
I think it would be a nice feature to have races with your best time trial attempts. For once, it could help you improve even further by seeing multiple of your approaches at once. However, it only works up until the point you have 10 perfect times that can't be improved much more. All cars would drive on one ideal line and finish nearly at the same time which would defeat the purpose of this feature. I don't think the idea is bad, I just can't imagine that it'd work really well, especially for people who use time trial a lot.

Up to 20 opponents
16 racers is already pushing it. The tracks aren't designed for it and online we might hit a few more bandwidth-related problems.
It might work offline but I'd consider it a novelty feature, nothing that really contributes to the gameplay and really makes it better.
The step from 12 to 16 players online was a good one and for now it suits the online races quite well. More might be a stretch due to the mentioned problems.

However, I could see a compromise that could potentially work. I've been thinking of online time trial for a while, a race mode that turns off collision so you can race for the best lap time online. This might actually work out with more than 16 players. I'd like to know what Huki thinks about this.

Random cars thing
I'm confused.

Knockout Race Mode
While I like the idea, implementing another game more should be low-priority since there are a ton of other bugs and suggestions that need to be implemented. I can see it happening in the far future, though.

i think i get the gist of the random car thing.

as he said, when we choose random car mode, other AI will have the same cars as the randomizer picked.
i might be wrong, but i think this is what he wants:

- a random car option ONLY for the player. AI cars still use the usual algorithm to pick cars for AI. when the player uses a player-only random car feature, it gives the player a random car that they wont know ahead of time, but other AI will still have the same variety of different cars like usual.

- identical cars option that ALLOWS the player to choose the car they want to use, with the AI racers having the same car as the player chose. like he said, enabling random cars mode will give the player and AI the same cars. in this "identical cars" feature, the player can choose which car they use in the car selection screen, but every AI will have the same car as the player selected. it is like the 30 racers option in the legacy WolfR4, where all AI have the same cars as the player picked.

- random circuit option. i think this is already implemented in the game and there is no other info if he wants anything else. i figured that he mentioned this option as an addition/comparison to other "random" options in the game/options that he suggested.

But it will be necessary to review for the random car option ...

I come back to my suggestion for the 20 opponents ...
I currently have 18 novice cars that I would like to face against IA ... The developer could change the layout of the grid in 5x5 or 4x5 instead of 2x10
