Hello,
Under Windows 10 Pro (64bit), Microsoft Defender SmartScreen denies installing from exe file, arguing that it is an "unknown app" with an "unknown issuer":
https://rvgl.re-volt.io/downloads/rvgl_ ... _win64.exe
Is there anything that can be done about this?
Of course, I can alternatively extract the 7z archive:

Do I have to do anything else, e.g. setting some environment variables etc.? I ask, because sometimes I get a small Windows popup window with an error message about failing to open a device (no more details). The game sometimes runs nevertheless after dismissing the error message, but sometimes it does not start.

Re: Windows 10 denies installing from exe file ("unknown issuer")
I get sometimes the same warning with various files. Then you have a choice to send the file for inspection to Microsoft or click something like "more information" and allow it to install anyway. Windows 10 likes mainly applications originating from Microsoft store.
