Huki u know about Difficulty AI Mode from 19.0301a?
- New profile.ini key 'Difficulty' to adjust the AI difficulty level for
single races (0: Very Easy, 1: Easy, 2: Medium, 3: Hard).
Well, It seems to me that there are different speeds with the star, if I change each number 1,2,3.
The Original speed with star is AI difficulty ''0''

Huh, that's interesting! It shouldn't be that way, I think, as you can't even play Battle Tag against AI. It's also a bit concerning that it took a year for someone to notice.

Oh shit, I hope this is bug "only" happens in Battle Tag...
But does this also means that the AI is faster in general, when configuring higher difficulty settings?

This is a lesser known trivia, but the game actually slows down the car holding the star (the 'it' car). Apparently this slowing down is tied to the difficulty setting, which is not intended and will be fixed. Toyeca's top speed is really 40mph.
The game speeds up AI cars that are behind you and slows down those that are ahead of you. In other games, this is called "rubberbanding". With higher difficulty settings, the speed up is more and slowing down is less.
