Minor translation issues in render settings

Unread post by 7wells » Sun Sep 13, 2020 7:42 pm

Hello Huki,

Would you mind changing these under "Render Settings" in German? The possible values of the draw distance (Sichtweite) are all in English and could be translated as proposed below. I capitalised all German values despite these adjectives are written in small caps, but all settings values (like An/Aus) are capitalised. It is not a 1:1 translation, e.g. highest would rather be höchste, but in terms of draw(ing) distance, in German I would expect Sehr weit. It's a question of personal flavour, though. ;)

For the draw(ing) distance (Sichtweite):
  • Highest => Sehr weit
  • High => Weit
  • Medium => Mittel
  • Low => Kurz
  • Lowest => Sehr kurz
For the (number of) particles (Partikel):
  • Lots => Viele
  • Some => Einige
  • None => Keine
For the shininess (Glanz):
  • Full => Voll
  • Medium => Mittel
  • Off => Aus
BTW, in French, the same variables are shown with English values, only.

Some text stuff is known to be hardcoded (not read from external string files).
Probably eventually planned to change this.
