The Re-Volt Hideout

I'm looking for a good controller to use on Re-volt
any suggestions?

personally I play Re-Volt with a controller since the game came out in 1999. First I used the 1996 version from the Microsoft Sidewinder Gamepad, till 2004. When I rejoined the community in 2017 I used my Microsoft XBox One Controller for playing Re-Volt, and it works really good.



I accelerate (right) and brake (left) with the triggers on the back, and steer with the D-Cross. This way I can control the car very precisley. Also tap-steering (like needed for Humma for example) is no problem at all this way. I shoot with the A button, look back with the Y button, flip the car with the X button, and honk with the B button. I have plugged the controller into my PC with a USB cable, so I don't have to worry about empty batteries.

X: accelerate;
Square: Break
Circle: Horn
R1: item
R2: car flip
L2: Reset
L1: Look Backwards
