Re: custom ball bearing texture

I've put a custom envstill in the track's folder and even in the track's custom folder, but still the default texture shows. :/

custom ball bearing texture

Hello, in many old tracks the ball bearing has got a custom texture. This is the only general sprite that is custom in these old tracks, as before Phoenix R3 it wasn't possible to have custom textures without replacing stock assets. However, I couldn't figure out how this was done, and nobody was ab...

Huh, I don't think I ever knew Half Life and Garry's Mod were related. :P In any case, a very interesting project! I wonder how far you'll get with it.

Re: THE ANNUAL SH*T TRACK PACK COLLECTION

Folk (my younger brother) and I have been having a lot of fun creating a track where if we don't feel like working on something, we can just rush it, and if we want to attempt something crazy, that's totally fine! This late afternoon we unexpectedly did a lot of experimentation with the fxpages and ...

That would split up the online community, but I don't think that's a problem, as it seems to be rather big currently. Anyway, I don't think it'll happen.

Re: Suggestion regarding RNG pick-up selection

Huh? No. Why would you want this ? It can certainly make a big difference. It'd make the game a lot less fun. The day before yesterday, I played Re-Volt with someone who hadn't played it before. His first 3 pick-ups were all batteries. That was great! I also really like it when I use a zap to get a ...

Re: THE ANNUAL SH*T TRACK PACK COLLECTION

How about some old Lego Extremes that have previously only been published on xtg? ;) It would also be fun to create some new ones, though! Finally a Re-Volt project that doesn't need to take more than a few days. :P

Re: Your Re-Volt Collection

Wow Kiwi, that's cool! I'm surprised to see the box of your original game in such a good state.
I'd like to get Re-Volt for N64 one day, mostly to play it but also partly to have it, but it's not expensive, so I'd like to save it until I run into it IRL, instead of buying it through the internet.

Re: Favourite Custom Tracks

Well, I usually judge tracks by their way how they were made. We can count in makeitgood stuffs, visuals and racelines. But visuals are secondary in my eyes. Including all these, here is my list: 01, Wipeout 2097 02, Ghost Town 3 03, CTR-Palm Marsh 04, Feeoria R.C.G.P. 05, Hallows Eve 06, GP1 07, H...

Re: Introductions

Hi! I'm hajducsekb, from Hungary. Prepare for a bit longer post ;). Hiding it for those who are here for the one-liner introductions. I've first found out about Re-Volt around 2003-2004 when I was a very young kid (I was born in 2000). We got to know this game from our neighbours, and I started pla...

Re: Favourite Custom Tracks

Interesting! I'd like to do this as well. :) It'd probably take some time though, as I'd have to play and rank all tracks that might be in the top 10 in order to get the ranking. But that sounds fun to do. :)

Ah, so if I understand correctly, it was because the risk-reward ratio was too high for most people to actually attempt it. That would make sense.

Re: Mapcycle system

Such a feature wouldn't hurt, but I wonder, if it wouldn't be more work to compile this textfile, instead of just chosing the next track manually. But in this case you wouldn't need to alt+tab out of Re-Volt between races or keep an extra screen with you. Sometimes I've written the tracks on a piec...

You're not going to be removed if...
...have been active within the last three months
or
...at least posted once.
Then you meant we're going to remove all accounts that haven't been active in the past three months and didn't at least post once.

Yeah, you already had a post so you wouldn't be deleted in any case ;) You won't be removed, you have more than one post! :sirblob: Then there's misinformation in the OP. we're going to remove all accounts that haven't been active in the past three month or didn't at least post once Please fix. ;)

Ah, I'm glad you saw my message. You could create a profile, and then quit, before attempting to start a race. This should save your profile, and then you can attempt the ini toggles suggested by Wichilie. :)

I'm looking forward to the official release of that (supposing there will be...

Hi everyone!
