Re: Time Trials instance models

Instances always appear in time trial, as far as I know. You mean some objects like the beachball.m, and the abcblock.m?

If yes, then in my opinion, this objects shouldn't appear in trime trial mode.

This is a good idea. This would also make it easier to share fastest laps at future hotlap competitions.

Re: Blender 2.79 Re-Volt Add-on

Is there already a planned release date for the update, which include support to the new RVGL version features (additional texture pages)? At the moment faces with mappings to additional texture pages - for example spavolt1 k .bmp - will be exported with spavolt1 a .bmp , which results in a wrong ma...

Re: [RVGL] Startgrid zoom for custom tracks

I know. That's the reason why I posted the question in Suggestions , and not in Help & Troubleshooting . The question was meant as a suggestion for a future RVGL release. For example by enabling it in the tracks ini -file. An "advanced" suggestion would be, that the zoom can be adjuste...

Re: [RVGL] Remove dialog boxes

This is actually a good idea. Sometimes this messagebox also causes issues at my side. For example if I save the fob -file in Makeitgood-Objects mode, Alt-TAB to a different application, and Alt-TAB back to RVGL later, it can happen that I am not able to click the message anymore. I have to restart ...

[Done] [RVGL] Startgrid zoom for custom tracks

At stock-tracks, the camera is zooming from a fixed position over the startgrid to the drivers car, when the race starts.

Is it possible, to enable this effect also for custom tracks?

Re: [RVGL Release] 19.0120a

This is the most amazing update in a long time. Especially for trackmakers like me there is so much new usefull stuff. Can't wait to use some of it for my next track. But also things like the problem with rotating antenna tips is solved now. :eyes:

Thank you so much for this.

Re: AI Nodes fork paths

Thx for this very useful hints, Gotolei. I can remember someone said, that the gazzasaicar-AI reacts different, than the "normal" AI ? Is this correct? While playing around with Spa-Volt AI-nodes I recognised, that the gazzasaicar-AI never raced a left path of a fork, but the "normal&...

Thanks for this hint. I use boolean values with different settings at some of my custom surfaces / custom sparks, and I am pretty sure I had no issues with it. But I will double-check it before releasing the final update.

Re: Spa-Volt Diary

I plan to release a final update for Spa-Volt 1 (The rainy one) soon. The track is in the I/O package for more then 4 months now, so it was raced quite often during online races since September. I have collected some things which needs adjustment - see list below. If anybody have found any other bug...

Re: StuntGP - someone? something? (SGPRV)

I didn't knew this game before, but it looks very interesting. Good work, Martin! Maybe you also know the game Ignition ("Bleifuss Fun" in german), from 1997? I tried to rip the cars from it last year, but I failed. I think also Jigebren tried one day, and he succeeded. But he didn't docum...

We have more spam then ever before. About 30 moderator actions since December 25th... :( Nearly every time I look at the forum, I have to delete spam-posts.

Aren't there any tutorials somewhere, how to avoid spam at phpBB effectifly? I will also have a look later.

Re: Spa-Volt Diary

Thank you Huki. The reason I didn‘t added loadlevel images, is the 15MB filesize-limit of RVZ. That‘s also the reason why I had to reduced the quality of the music and sound effects quite a lot. Also the textures are only 512x512. I know I could provide a higher quality version somewhere else, but I...

Re: Spa-Volt Diary

I guess you are talking about this section? https://i.imgur.com/UmlBgIP.jpg At a beta-release this section was much darker, so this is already a brightened version, hehe. I made it that dark on purpose, because I think it adds some variety, and it's also a very short section. And at the rear part of...

Thanks for reporting this issue, Pyves. At Discord I already got some other minor bug reports. I collect them all at the moment, and will release a bug-fix-update soon. :) (No matter how many people will beta-test, there will be always some small bugs left, hehe...)

Sounds good. I also will check once more, if I banned all possible spam-users. Can be, that I overlooked some. With some users it's also not 100% clear if they are spam-users. Sometimes I can just identify them by strange names, and no filled out data. But actually this also could be "real"...

Hi Re-Volt, the issue you are describing is more an issue with some custom cars. Examples are Shinobi and Ultima . I also have the same problem, especially when shooting rockets and waterbaloons before landing after a jump, or while the car is on a not completly flat road. As far as I know, it has s...

[RVGL] Mutliplayer game terminations

From time to time it happens, that players will be disconnected from mutliplayer races. Host use P2P mode Host does not use -autokick We found out, that the issue happens more often on specific tracks. Examples are Cactus Volt, or Spa-Volt 1. Terminations on stock tracks are very uncommon, it seems ...

Since RVGL 18.1110a or RVGL 18.1112a the ESC- , as well the Arrow-Keys are not working anymore in the multiplayer lobby, as soon the race have started (accessible via TAB key). This makes it also impossible for a host to check the players cars, put specific players to spec mode, or remove players fr...

Yesterday I worked together with Huki, to have a look at the issue. Here our findings. The initial problem (mirrors together with waterboxes) doesn't seems to be an issue anymore. Ether, the problem was solved at one of the latest RVGL versions already, OR the problem just doesn't occur at the track...
