Re: [RVGL Release] 19.1001a

Thanks a lot for fixing the Light RGB intensity values bug :)

Now I can use my method again, darken areas (for example to create a smooth shadow) by placing lights with negative RGB values.

[RVGL] Android Navigation Improvements

This weekend I've tested the Android version of RVGL for the first time. The installation of the APK as well the installation of content packages (I/O packs, DC-pack,...) went very smooth and much easier than I expected. After I made some comments on the menu navigation, Huki provided an test build ...

Month in Review

Thanks a lot Alex, for doing the „Month in Review“ on the I/O website. For all who didn‘t saw it so far: https://re-volt.io/blog/month-in-review-september-2019 Personally I like this format much more than the previous audio podcasts. It‘s a nice overview, and finally all non-Discord users have a goo...

Yes, I also think that such updates should be listed on the I/O website. The news section on the website does not show how active the community actually is. I made a topic a while ago regarding this: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=957

Re: GJ's and I Spy's Workshop

Hello GJ, first...be welcomed here at the new forum. :) I just tested out your new track, and I am so hyped now. Here a copy of my comment from RVZ. Oh WOW. When I saw the preview picture, I already thought: Hmm...someone know what he do here. And I was right. This feels like a Redux-Version of Fidd...

Re: Route-77

I was really looking forward to your new track, as The Bunker is one of my all-time-favorite tracks. Especially visually, but also raceline-wise I like everything about it. I was also pretty hyped when I saw some parts of The Bunker in Route-77. I love such references, and plan to do similar things ...

Re: [RVGL Release] 19.0907a

Amazing update. It‘s very nice to see features like point to point tracks and big improvements to the makeitgood editor, without touching the core of Re-Volt. Can’t wait to try this out for my upcoming track, called „School’s Out!“. You all doing such a good job, and you do everything so Re-Volt wil...

The Unnamed Track sounds very promising. I love Edinburgh. Raced around it in PGR2 in the early 2000's, and visited it a few years ago. What a nice city. My vote for this one. :)

Re: [RVGL] Camera issues since 19.0819 update

Thank you Huki. I've tested the test build (Windows x64) at Skating Toys, and at Botanical Garden. The "low camera"-issue is gone. Also the slightly different camera position when driving beside a wall is gone. I also tested if I can reproduce the jitter you talked about, and I think it is...

Re: [RVGL] Camera issues since 19.0819 update

In the #1 the camera didn't go back up after it decreased its height because of driving under the bed. Should not happen, could maybe possibly happen in other places on other tracks too? It happens also at other places. For example when driving underneath the cars at Hood1. I know that it is caused...

Re: [RVGL] Camera issues since 19.0819 update

I normally have v-sync OFF, because with v-sync ON I have some "stuttering" while playing, which is not the case when I switch v-sync OFF. I can confirm, that in RVGL 19.0819 the strange camera behaviour is not here anymore, as soon I switch v-sync ON. But the gameplay is by far not as smo...

[RVGL] Camera issues since 19.0819 update

Since the update to RVGL version 19.0819, I have some strange camera issues. The camera is zooming more groundwards at some track areas. Examples are the area after the house at Skating Toys, or the conveyor area at Biohazard Factory. The camera movement is not caused by the placement of camera shor...

Re: Hull Breach 3000 teleporter problem with 19.0819 update

I will check it today in the evening. Thanks for the hints.

As the respawn after the Hull Breach 3000 teleporter is exactly on a crossroad (right at start/finish line), I maybe will change the respawn point in an update. I will see what I can do.

I will have a look at this issue. Illusion and/or Ever After or other tracks which use „teleporters“ don‘t have this issue?

Re: Nali-Pa-Haven Diary

Hi Javildesign! I did some collaborations in the past already. Most of my cars have parameters made by Mighty Cucumber, Xarc, Kipy or r6te, because I am not an expert in doing parameters, and I also don't enjoying fiddling around with params on my own. At a track there are way more things to do, so ...

Re: [RVGL] Slider SFX volume

If I understand correctly, in your case the slider audio does not fade off at all, while 3D audio objects fade off correctly. If that's the case, it's something worth looking into. Hi Huki, yes exactly, that's what I have found out. Would be nice to see a fix for this in an upcoming RVGL release bu...

Re: Nali-Pa-Haven Diary

I've postponed Nali Pa Haven to 2020/2021, and will work on it after my new track project, which I plan at the moment. The reason behind this is, that I think I need more skill for turning my visions into the track. My Blender skill is not good enough to build nice houses for the old town style, as ...

Re: Rare Casual I/O cars - Lobby

I have exactly the same opinion as you, Hajduc, and looking forward to your rare car session. I've done similar sessions in the past, but sadly they were not very crowded.

To show the overuse of some cars, I've done a useage list for all classes in May 2019.

This is looking pretty nice, IronBob + Team! What are your plans: Will all cars be available in addition to the current stock cars, or do you plan to release an update, where the current stock cars will be replaced with the new models? If yes, how do you plan to achieve this? (For example regarding ...

Re: Favs 100 - A Skin Competition

Phimeek, can you please remove my reservations? I'm Sorry, but I lost interest after working on #82.
The reason behind this is the car itself. It has a pretty weird shape, and working on skins for this car is not as fun as I thought it would be. :(
