Re: Zeino's Monthly Time Trial Challenges

The weather is getting sunnier and such? I hope not, we haven't even had snow or ice yet here. :P
You mention the I/O packs... is this not the car that you are getting at? http://revoltzone.net/cars/29521/Shinobi

One reason I can instantly think of is the fact that crossroads exist. There, the game wouldn't know which direction arrow to show, so it's much more hassle-free to have to go through each trigger than to somehow decide which one is the right one.
Ah, that makes sense! Thanks.

Re: [RVGL] Direction triggers bug

Why anyway do subsequent triggers not appear when one is missed? This has probably been in the game since the beginning (it's why I could never manage to learn PetroVolt), but it doesn't make sense to me. I've never actually placed triggers in a track, though.

Re: School's Out!

The reversed version is great! It's strangely satisfying that it is exactly the same length as the regular version. Most of the track is surprisingly intuitive in the reverse direction! Did you keep it in mind while designing? What did confuse me at first is that following the arrows in the skatepar...

Re: School's Out!

It is the final version. I hope I've eliminated as much bugs as possible together with my testers. But if needed, I will for sure release updates in the future as well. If it's the final version, there will never be another. 'Final' means 'Last', not 'Latest'. :) Sorry, but it confused me, as I tho...

Ah, you are still collecting bugs. So it's actually not the final version, probably. :P
Anyway, I'm looking forward to checking this out again! Especially curious for the music and the Reversed version, of course.

Re: School's Out! - WIP Track

Thanks for not sticking to the 15MB limit in the end, by having players download the music track from elsewhere!
I was afraid you wouldn't be able to add in the missing collisions and might even have to remove more, because of being against the RVZ file size limit and getting a longer music track.

I'm loving your use of custom 3D animations! Were these in the original game as well?

Ooops, didn't notice this message 607, apologies. I have some beta-runs (not final) recorded, even with keystrokes. It isn't much but I can upload it for you to take a look haha That would be cool! In my YouTube video on Maxx "Z" I explained that it is hardly usable at all with keyboard s...

Embed does not work on that image link you posted: https://prnt.sc/qnrzp3 Good idea to add separate rating though. Especially because you have to remove super pro cars to play with pro cars only. You could also include a command to remove and add these cars itself. Afaik Sakura frontend had the sam...

Re: Vote for Best Track of the Year (2019)

I wonder what the standings would be if you could only vote for one track, or had to rank your votes and a higher rank would account for more points. ;) Edit: I also just realised the poll statistics don't make much sense. It seems to assume that there was only one vote per person, because otherwise...

Re: [RVGL Release] 19.1230a

Why does the gravity turn out to be customisable per level, anyway? All of the stock tracks have the same gravity, right? So you'd expect it to be constant for the whole game, and not set per level.

Re: Random Tracks pool includes stock tracks even if they aren't in the levels directory

I would agree. This because when you remove cars from your installation, they are not picked by the Random Cars option anymore.
Of course if this would be changed the game would still crash upon loading a demo.
