Re: Zeino's Monthly Time Trial Challenges

Okay, I did a session on every track! Half an hour to an hour each. I had most fun on Ghost Town 2 and Supermarket 1, which are also my most improved ones, but if I do have another session before the deadline, it will probably be on either of those tracks, as I enjoyed them most. :P https://i.imgur....

To my surprise, I like all of the tracks! A lot of creativity. And two out of 4 tracks weren't even Halloween-themed! :P My favourites are Schizophrenia and Miner's End [WIP]. Both have got good atmosphere, and the former, like Alex said, seems to do something completely unique. Miner's End was the ...

Ah, sorry. I couldn't tell from your message whether you were interested in donating. If still you are, I can send you the link, since we're just 10 euro shy from covering next year's payment as well. However, I can also take care of that amount myself (think of it as my own donation), hence why I'...

Re: The rv.gl domain

I think this would be quite doable. Of course, we do also have re-volt.io and revoltzone.net to care for, but we've got quite some dedicated members in the community, many of which are adults. Let's suppose these three together cost 150 euro a year to maintain; in that case, supposing there are 10 m...

After 11 people voted so far, here is an overall table. 10 Points for place one, 9 points for place 2, and so on. If 2 tracks are at one place, both tracks got the same points. Only tracks with a total or equal of more than 10 points are listed. 1. Jailhouse Rock...........63 Points 2. Ranch..........

[SUGGESTION] switch keybindings without forgetting them

Hi, it's me again! Depending on what pc I am at and sometimes also depending on how much time I have, I want to play with either controller or keyboard. However, every time I switch, I have to reenter my key bindings. Isn't it possible for the game to save the bindings for both keyboard and control...

Re: Live point system !

I do think it would be a nice possibility, but I'm not sure how easy to implement it would be. It would have to deal with things the championships don't have to deal with, such as the possibility of 100 players or 100 races. For a points system, if it's optional anyway, maybe the system that is alre...

but why authors made them uncompetitive (too strong or too weak) in their class? It's up to them to update the cars or leave them be, having the car outside of the pack. I am uncomfortable with this, as I fear that the I/O pack will get too much of an influence on what people will create. This is o...

Re: Renaming the I/O Car Classes

A short reply: A solution could be as well to incorporate IO classes and make RVGL support it. When a lobby selects an IO class, the players could see that as a prompt/option/text, if possible. It shouldn't be too hard to implement. What do you think? I think RVGL shouldn't become I/O-specific, but...

I'll be looking for suggestions before sumitting my entry! At this point all ratings (except Super Pro) should be renamed, right? This is intended, so you can't get faster times by using jump walls and such (the end of Museum 1, and MightyCucumber's update for Rooftops2 for examples).

Re: Candy Jumping original sample

It's probably a case similar to the "Pachelbel canon in D" or "The Wilhelm Scream" case – this may be simply a decent string of notes that matches many songs in a particular tempo (and also allows for additional instruments to be played alongside it quite easily), so it is used ...

In situations like these, when a hotfix is needed on the same day, we simply overwrite the original release. We don't increase the version number because each release is ~80MB total and we like to keep all previous versions on our server for archival purposes. A version number bump, even for a simp...
