Re: Kiwi's Carskins

Artair ( Download from RVZ ) is a car I did together with Mighty Cucumber. For some reason there were people who thought Artair stands for Arctic Air , but this is completly wrong. Artair is a word from the old scotish gaelic language, and it‘s related to my real life name. You pronounce it like „ ...

Re: Kiwi's Carskins

I really like DRJ-61 by Phimeek ( Download from RVZ ). That's why I added the car to the Plus Pack, and that's also why I did a skin for it in the last days. The skin use the same design as the Co-Work between Kipy and me, BigChief . But to be honest, I like it on DRJ-61 much more. :) ==============...

RVGL Plus Pack

RVGL Plus (Or simply "Plus Pack") is a package with additional Re-Volt content, compiled especially (but not only for) competitive Re-Volt sessions . It is an alternative to the famous I/O track- and car-packs, but with a focus on competitive races, where all players use the same car. Same (or even...

Re: Kiwi's Carskins

Last summer I've released a remodel of R6 Turbo/Sizzler. It's called R6 Extreme . It's probably the car I personally love most of all the cars I made until now. I don't know exactly why...the car was not that much work, but I think everything fits perfectly, visually and parameter-wise. I will relea...

Re: Re-Volt LEGO® models

I have quite a lot of green parts, because I grew up in the early 90's, and a lot of models with the fictional Octan-brand (green, red, white) came out at this time. :)

Re: Mystery car mod w/ skins and install script

It would be nice to see some pictures of the mod in this thread.
I guess a lot of people would like to see what they will install, before downloading.

Re: ToySoldierz: Reversed

I think I don‘t understand. The sound is working also this way. Should I move the file and update the download anyway? (The sound will only be used in the R version)

Re: ToySoldierz: Reversed

Removing the part was not necessary, but I wanted to do it this way, so the R-version brings some diversity to the track. Also, we are lacking very short tracks in Re-Volt, that was another reason why I "removed" this part.

ToySoldierz: Reversed

I did a Reversed Version for Skitch2’s track ToySoldierz . The upgrade does not touch any files from the normal track version, so it's 100% Online multiplayer compatible with the original track. The download also includes a new stock-like track picture. The track is about 100m shorter then the norma...

Re: Kiwi's Carskins

Zipperzb posted some pictures from cars (I think it was a Dodge Viper and a Corvette C6) from NFS Most Wanted in Discord at the weekend, which I took as inspiration for this new skins for Zipper . Again, the very limiting Zipper-mapping was really challenging to work with, but I like how the skins t...

Re-Volt LEGO® models

At the beginning of last year I tried to rebuild some of the Re-Volt cars with my old LEGO® bricks. Now, one year later, I decided to create building instructions for this models, so you also can do them. It's the perfect decoration object for every real Re-Volter! 8-) Today I want to begin with RC ...

Re: Kiwi's Carskins

Yesterday I had a look, if there are any stock-cars where not a single alternative skin is available. I've found only one: The most beloved Genghis Kar ! Reason enough for me, trying to do a skin. And this was not so easy. First I wanted to make a evil black skin, but Genghis Kar is one of the model...

Re: Launch commands and special keyboard options

Are there any reason, why those kind of additional options won't be added to the in-game menus? Maybe a technical one? Somehow I don't understand why some of the options are available, and some are not. At the current state (also with a well written documentation) it is not so user-friendly.

Re: Launch commands and special keyboard options

Personally I never had issues with configuring this kind of things via ini-files or start-parameters. But especially for newbees it's very hard, and I guess a lot of people don't even know that there are all this possibilities available. So I definitly support point 1 and 2. What exactly you mean wi...

Re: Result screen for spectators and in replay

Especially point 1 (and in combination point 3) would be very useful, especially for hosts. I'm often hosting but spectating the races. But it's pretty hard to get a good overview over the race - for example if all players already finished. A workaround for point 3 would be to deactivate the HUD (by...

Re: Kiwi's Carskins

Today I released an update for Panther , which is a colab between Xarc and me. ( Download from RVZ ). I've adjusted the shading, and Kipy helped me in doing a new hul , so the cars collisions are more accurate now. In addition, I wanted to use the chance, and also add a new alternative carskin. I al...

Re: Muting players

You are right, changing the position of the chat, or add a functionality to hide the chat via a Hotkey - like suggested here), would make this suggestion obsolete.

Muting players

For hosts it would be nice to have the possibility, to mute certain players, so no chat messages from them will be displayed anymore. (For example by using CTRL + M ). This could be used for players who keep chatting while others in the middle of a race, or for players who do not stop bashing others...

Re: Car names at results screen?

I want to push this topic, because when working on the RVGL Ladder in the last weeks, I had the idea to also display the fastest lap times in the Ladder event results. I could also give additional points ("Kudos") to the persons with the fastest lap times, which would be a very nice addition. Would ...

Sorry for bringing this topic back from the grave, after nearly one year.
But I just recognised this entry at the changelog of RVGL release 19.0120a:

Does this means, that there really were issues with the randomizer before this change, @Huki?

The Pemto Pack Project (PPP) is a package with 99 community made skins for Pemto . The project started on March 18th 2018, three days after the release of Pemto. (The project thread can be found here .) All skins use the standard Pemto-mapping and are available in the skin selection screen. The skin...

Re: Kiwi's Carskins

Last weekend I did an alternative skin for Pure's new Super Wheat ( Download at RVZ ), which I called "Harvey". Or were the screenshots made at different times during development? All in all you made already a lot of progress, ke...
