Yeah, the legacy renderer should probably be made optional, so people need to enable it for MAKEITGOOD (I've heard there are some issues in some edit modes in the shader mode).

I've just downloaded a bunch of tracks today and have been struggling again. The "Modified" date in Windows corresponds to the date when the files were zipped together (at least with my current setup). If you download a very old track, it shows up as 2005, which doesn't help. Some track folder name...

I can't often work on this, as I don't have a num pad at home. I can now finally get back to you that this does not work, as seen in this video.

It is indeed not possible to switch cars without exiting the session. It is something that has been suggested before, but I don't recall the response.
