Can't reproduce this in multiplayer. I've fixed the problem in Practice mode though.

Re: [RVGL 17.1124a and Shader Version] Multiplayer Glitches

I have seen this error once with 1124a, I only use shader version, on a specific track (Garage, month track at revoltrace.net), the bellow was the only thing that was strange in my log and other players log: Warning: Object type 43 out of bounds at -28569, 34643, 7514 For the time being it didn't h...

Gents, this is awesome! Coming back 10+ years later and seeing this alive is so sweet! Anyhow: Is RVGL Open Source? I can't find a repo, and I happen to only have Macs :). Glad to see you back! About RVGL source, I sent you an email. :) Hi I downloaded the new version and when the game has loaded a...

RVGL - Shader Edition

This is a new rendering engine for RVGL based on programmable shaders , targeting OpenGL 2.0+, ES 2.0 and 3.1+ Core Profile. It's very different from the fixed pipeline used by v1.2 and current RVGL, and mapping many of the features supported by the existing renderer was a challenging task. Expected...

The bug should only affect Practice mode. Is that what you were using? Have you tried Single Race mode?

Announcing RVGL

We currently use OpenGL for the graphics, OpenAL Soft for the audio, SDL for input and OS specific support and ENet for networking. We have playabl...

Re: [RVGL 17.1124a] Loading screen hangs/freezes on last action

Post your re-volt.log file. Does this happen with the shader version (17.1124s) too?
As a temporary workaround, you may disable the loading screen with the -sload command.

Re: Relevant developments and sub forums?

v1.2 is no longer being actively developed, but it can still be relevant in some cases (eg., for systems with poor OpenGL support). The latest 1.2 release continues to run on Windows 10 (I tried it recently for a performance comparison), so it's there for folks who want to (or need to) use it. There...

Re: The Re-Volt Hideout opens for all Re-Volters!

It's about time we had a self-hosted forum anyway. The lack of control over our content and database was an issue already brought up by jigebren before. The recent events provide a valid excuse to make the jump. I just wish there was a way to import ORP database. I believe the forum (re-volt.io serv...
