Re: Racing tracks from both ends

This seems interesting. Starting in opposite directions 😱 Should be a lot of fun when you meet somewhere in the middle and it would promote reverse mode as well. It's a nice idea 👍

Custom car championship

Hi, I am trying to find the best performing cars controlled by AI . Such cars can then be used for competitive racing offline and fill up empty slots in online races. My aim is to find best cars in all ranks : rookie, amateur, advanced, semi-pro, pro and super-pro. According to rough calculation the...

Re: Legit speed ranges for all car ranks

How do you assess if the car is balanced? If speed is not the reference then what? So Cougar is balanced because having higher speed than toyeca has worse acceleration?

Re: New camera and game modes

It could be for frontend as well. I use tvtime option and F6 currently in game. However thought of using dedicated key to do it automatically with rotation speed adjustment and possibly distance to the car adjustment.

Legit speed ranges for all car ranks

Hi,

What are present community-wide accepted speed ranges for all car ranks?

As a reminder stock cars including Dreamcast have speeds as follows:
Rookie: 29.7 - 32.8 mph,
Amateur: 30.9 - 35.1 mph,
Advanced: 33.6 - 37.2 mph,
Semi-Pro: 36.0 - 41.4 mph,
Pro: 38.8 - 43.3 mph

New camera and game modes

Please consider making a new camera centered on currently selected car and revolving around him 360 deg continuously until interrupted. A free F function key could be assigned. Minus and plus keys could decrease and increase rotation speed respectively. This could nicely serve for in-game car prese...

Championship mode (Cups) result of skipping

In Championship mode we have possibility to skip race continuation and avoid waiting for other CPU cars to finish their race. We still get results as if all finished normally. I wonder if this action has any influence on final standing? If we allow race to continue will the final result be the same ...

Re: What's the way to race against a given set of opponents?

@Avecezar: In the picture above, what was your car? Was it Acclaim F1? I drove with Toyeca. All remaining cars were rating 4. I realized my failure to obtain all unique opponents: [*] there was Panga in the set, which seems non-selectable by CPU [*] Toyeca which I drove with was in the set of the 1...

Re: What's the way to race against a given set of opponents?

You can only put the selected cars to the cars folder and its a really funky way I guess. Yes, it's obvious that if you have more cars available for selection there won't be repetitions. I put just 10 cars in a folder and CPU doesn't populate all the 10 available slots with these cars, there are re...

What's the way to race against a given set of opponents?

I would like to find a way to race against chosen opponent cars. If I compile a pack with a bunch of cars, let's say 10 cars, and start single race with 11 cars, not all cars are selected by computer. Instead some cars are showing twice or 3 times . Same happens in custom cup session. Do u guys know...

Great job!
Now my packs/cups work properly.
I was about to write on issues I ran into with a cup when I saw this update.
I was getting continuous black screen while loading a cup/pack set, but now after the update all seems fine.

I'm looking forward to this idea, because I would like to have an option to pause time consuming cups; thinking of endurance cups with 50 or more laps for example.

Looks like a great tool for offline data comparison.
You could also consider highlighting best results in each section like best lap in best lap table for example.

Where did you get the track from?
The faulty track comes with RVON pack.
Just checked IO pack and it's free from the bug.

I installed the wide version and I like it. It's so much better looking. It's my permanent replacement.
Just noticed that rain drops in Toytanic 2 are visible too much perhaps.

Lunar track - faulty trial time

Probably it's a known issue with the track Lunar by human.
It's not possible to do time trial on that track due to falling into void at the start.
I would appreciate if a fix has been issued.

Multiple instances of RVGL well organized

Hi, Can you help how to organize multiple instances of RVGL? I would like to have separately: - base RVGL content, unchangeable - RVON packs content only - IO packs content only - test content only Once I have created base content first, then made required copies and installed required packs in give...
