Re: Wichilie's Project Graveyard

I see the greatest potential in DR Urban track. I like the moving parts and traps and change of pace required to complete the track. I'm glad you like it! The addition of animation to RVGL opens up so many interesting track concepts It's great to hear something from you, Wichilie! I'm still hoping ...

Re: Custom Track Properties: Velocity

I had a look at the properties of one of the stock conveyers and it uses the following velocity: 0.000000 -500.000000 0.000000. Yours is 0.000000 0.000000 300.000000, so you might be telling the game to move cars up into the air, instead of sideways. Try changing it to 0.000000 300.000000 0.000000 o...

Re: Themed Lego Extreme Track Competition, Round 2

Since this competiton coincidently shares its theme with the recently announced Halloween Carnival, any tracks that are submitted qualify for its tracklist. If you want your track to be raced there, make sure to submit it before 24/10/2019 at 1800 UTC instead of the regular deadline.

I guess those who exclusively visit the forum never really got any closure on the Frankfurt meetup; you can watch this video to see us together! Alex turned the skatepark we visited into a track as well, which you can download here. It truly was a ton of fun :D

Re: Realistic R/C

Compatability isn't really a problem, even if this pack would replace the stock cars, now that -chdir ( 1 2 ) is a thing. Just keep a seperate folder with the unmodified stock content and you don't have to worry about overwriting it with custom content in your main folder. The current progress is lo...

Re: RVGL Music Not Working

Ah, that's the problem then. If you unzip the soundtrack pack of your choice in the game's directory, it'll automatically create the redbook folder, so you don't need to worry about that. You can get FLAC versions of the PC and Dreamcast releases at the link I posted earlier, or OGG versions of the ...

Re: RVGL Music Not Working

OpenAL is included with the RVGL download, but if you want to be sure you have it, check whether the file OpenAL32.dll exists in the game's directory.

The music should be located in the redbook folder. Are there any sound files there in your install? If not, you can get them here.

Re: Blender 2.79 Re-Volt Add-on

Get the latest release of the dev branch. I believe someone noted it stops working after texture Z, with anything from AA onwards just mapping onto A, but it's better than only going up to J.

Re: RVGL Issue

Hmm, weird that it does load the main menu but not the levels. You can try the following: in [root]/profile/rvgl.ini , set EnableUBO to 0 . If that doesn't work, try the same with Shaders . That's the usual first step for troubleshooting this game anyway, but I'm not sure how applicable they are sin...
