I might try to do that in the future, not sure how feasible it is when it comes to the current code

Re: Lunar track - faulty trial time
this come from IO version of this track ... Try with the original one The .inf file in the version you've linked has a modification date of 2017. The version on RVZ has 2005. I think the XTG one was modified to change the start position. Sidenote, I wonder why the time trial also had a bad starting...

RVGL Points Calculator
Hey! I've created a Points Calculator that can be mainly used for 2 things: - Generating HTML files based on sessionlog files (like an offline Session Parser) - Sample 1 - Sample 2 - Calculating points on a loop and writing it into a text file, so you can show it in OBS. Note: Cars (as seen in Sampl...

Re: 20.1230a:Generated Session lap time bug with 1 lap
Hi!
The lap counter starts when you cross the finish line. So the race time will be longer by the amount of time it takes for you to get there.

Players who didn't finish get reported in the sessionlog as if they did finish
Hey! I started having an issue with the latest version of RVGL. Expected Behaviour When the race finishes, and I go to the next track/lobby, the racers who didn't finish should have a "false" value in the line next to their name. Bug Description If I go back to lobby, or move to the next track as a ...

Re: Visible feedback for starting boost
Seems like a nice idea! However, the screen is cluttered enough with the go signs at the start (I almost crash sometimes, it takes up so much of the screen), so I hope if this gets introduced, it will be either: really small something that can be turned off ;) Edit: ooooooh, it's meant as a battery ...

Re: Hi; much praise; Ironman mode and couple more suggestions
Hey! I know it's not exactly what you've asked for, but I've created a "no repo" trackpack, where I took already existing tracks, and removed the repositions. The challenge is mostly not falling down, however, unfortunately the AI doesn't work. If you're interested anyway, here's a link to the forum...

Re: Enable or Disable Endurance Mode on profile.ini?
For now, I think using a memory editor is one of the best options, since you can basically just type a number.
Howver, I like the PgUp / PgDown idea. It could make things easier, and if it changes 10, you could go from 1 to 191 in the same amount of time, as you can go 1 to 20 with arrows.

Re: RVGL Internationally
The point made by URV was that about half the countries in your European list are not European. For example, Argentina and Brazil are from South America, and Nigeria is from Africa. Also, it's weird that there's no Hungary in the list when it has possibly the most Re-Volt players.

Re: Custom starting position in time trials
But people won't have the same inf file, because most people won't have set a custom time trial starting position and those that do will have different ones. Yes, I agree with this, I first misunderstood what Kiwi said. I think it would be better if we had seperate files, because that way, people c...

Re: A sidenote about SuperTuxKart
Hi! SuperTuxKart is a really fun game, though I haven't played it that much. To be honest, I feel like this is rather something for reference than an advert, especially since the project is open source. RVGL as an engine seems like an interesting idea, and it kinda already is becoming one. Although ...

Re: RVGL on Android
Attention: I split the RVGL repository into several components. Except the core RVGL source, everything else is now public. You can, for example, build the android package yourself and even help improve the Java code. Start by visiting the RVGL Base Repository (https://gitlab.com/re-volt/rvgl-base)...

Re: Custom starting position in time trials
Coming back to this, because I've thought about this recently. I think it'd still be nicer to have it as a seperate file, as tracks and track packs get updated often. This means, that every time someone downloads a pack again, the .inf file gets overwritten, therefore, the starting position gets los...

Re: Give player(s) host permissions
I think this would be a great thing to implement. This could not only help those people who would like to host and can't port forward, but also those hosts that become busy during a session. In this case, the race could go on using someone else's control, while the main host could go and do their th...

Re: [RVGL Release] 20.0430a
I think the easiest way to do it would be to run from terminal, yes. The default location for rvgl is ~/.rvgl, assuming you've installed it there, you can launch it this way: 1. Open your terminal app. 2. Type ~/.rvgl/rvgl -nointro -sessionlog (just an example, use the arguements you would like in p...

Re: More RVGL bugs 20.430a
This is probably the very same bug, not more bugs. I think not all images are loaded properly (looking at you, fxpage and font), and they are replaced by other textures. Could be a RAM-related issue, imo.

Bombs have been really buggy in online sessions lately
Hey! I feel like there has been something going on with bombs recently, and it's pretty weird. I've mostly experienced it this last week, and I'm fairly sure that it wasn't only me. I'll try to recall all of them that have happened, but I don't really see a pattern. #01 - Rooftops - me and Stingox -...

Re: New Game mode ideas, thoughts?
I don't know if this is maybe already around for years, I never do race that much. But I thought about that every car need to collect 10 stars or coins or whatever that are random placed on the track. The idea is that you need to collect them all (10/10) in 1 lap and if you miss one, you need to go...

This all sounds cool!
And now that custom animations are available, I think it'd be fun to do something like this, where the main platform would be rotating. That would definitely give people a hard time.

Re: Post upload tweaking at RVZ
Hey! I can see what you mean with your post, Manmountain, but I would like to provide you with a different perspective for cars that are being released. A few beta testers have a much lower chance of finding bugs in a car compared to many people who can download it from RVZ. Therefore, people should...
