from my experience, may be worth noting that only the first time that the game is started has slow startup times. subsequent startups from the same executable has faster startup times. it took me 20-30 secs when i start up my heavy custom content executable, then subsequent startups only takes about...

at this point, we can have a pickup parameter modifier for every pickup and change them the way whatever we wish. this would be very controversial though.

it probably means have the AI to be able to pick a car that the player selected.

the ghost time trial is a nice suggestion though, tho i rather have the ghosts as "per session" rather than "always best time"

to me, zap is like a "passive" pickup that cuts down other's engine when they're near. you can activate it and wait/reach for others to get zapped. by reducing the zap duration, it becomes an "active" type pickup, which means you enable it when you're near someone to offset its s...

we had 3 individual-based All's Fair competition, which is getting stale in my opinion.
for the next AF, what about a team based All's Fair competition?

this only applies in -dev mode, which is probably the mode that was not meant to be normally used. if you start a race in junior RC mode, the "speed limit" is gone when you change car midrace. the speed limit is also gone when you refresh the car with ctrl+r. this can get troublesome if so...
