RE-VOLT: which plays better, a keyboard or a gamepad?

Hi,

I've never played a PC version, but I'd imagine that controlling those awfully twitchy cars would be a pain on a keyboard. I have the Dreamcast version, so I use the regular DC gamepads. The game owns multiplayer, you can even play a semi-n00b and have fun. I'd say definately try to get some sort of analog steering on your gamepad. I really like my Gravis Xterminator Digital, it has analog steering and analog shoulder buttons?

Please help.

I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.

It's up to personal preference. The game supports many gamepads so it should have you covered.
I personally prefer the keyboard since I got used to tapping for precise steering. Neither is better or worse, it depends on what you think feels better.

Gamepad. I personally use the Logitech F310, which is PERFECT for me.

I also use a gamepad for Re-Volt since 1999. Tapping is also possible and I do it all the time. I am using the D-Pad for steering, not the analog stick.

Some years I used the classic Microsoft Sidewinder gamepad, and after this I buyed a XBox 360 Wirless gamepad.

I've always used a gamepad but using a keyboard is faster as you can make smoother turns.

Selected games with a third party software "DreamPi" using Raspberry Pi.
If you're about Re-Volt, the console version only has split-screen multiplayer.

I'm gonna echo what Marv said: It's a matter of personal preference. Over the years, I've seen people use all sorts of devices, such as keyboards, gamepads, steering wheels and even arcade sticks.

Personally, I prefer using a gamepad, since I find it to be more comfortable than the keyboard, and I can use that same gamepad with all the other games I have on my PC.

I just noticed that this guy is actually a spam bot of sorts. He's reposting posts about Re-Volt from other forums and links to them.
