Is RV 1.2 still being developed, should this be linked/tied in with RVGL ?
May be needs it's own sub forum.

There used to be separate car and track sub forums, or would this just fall under WIP ?

There is a separate help & troubleshooting and bug report sub forums, what if someone wants help with the latest RVGL release ? where should they post.

I think 1.2 is shelved for good. The forum titles still contain it because it's also still listed on rv12.revoltzone.net.

I left the car and track sub-forums out since most WIP and release posts are made on Discord these days. Some people like to use their WIP threads for archiving their creations, so I still made a WIP forum. People can use it for unfinished and finished projects.

Discussions about the lastest RVGL release usually take place in the release posts in the RVGL & Re-Volt v1.2 forum.

v1.2 is no longer being actively developed, but it can still be relevant in some cases (eg., for systems with poor OpenGL support). The latest 1.2 release continues to run on Windows 10 (I tried it recently for a performance comparison), so it's there for folks who want to (or need to) use it.

There is no need to have a separate section for 1.2 as I consider RVGL to be a direct successor of 1.2 (in fact, RVGL's internal version number is still 1.2.xx.xxxx). Reports / suggestions to either project should go into the shared Development section (in case of 1.2 reports, we may simply ask the user to upgrade to RVGL if possible).
