Yes! I've been wanting to do this for a while. About how I'd implement this: A new MATERIAL entry in properties called SurfSound and a number for which wave you want to use. You can then put a custom sound in the custom folder and use its respective number. E.g. siren_loop.wav would be 100. The list...

Hmm... I don't really get what you mean. There's text on the upper parts of the loading screen anyway so no space is wasted.

I tested the track, and it still works on RVGL 18.720 [...] the scenery collision is lacking It's either because the instances didn't load in the reverse version (outdated version) or because we overlooked something. Try updating and if that doesn't help, please tell us which parts...

It's probably possible but RVGL is built using OpenGL rather than DirectX. I don't know much about the platform but I guess some work would have to "port it back".
Sadly, the source has to stay closed at the moment.

We don't have any Macs around so it's hard to try. I tried installing macOS via hackintosh methods but I couldn't get hardware graphics acceleration to work.
For now, you can try running the game via wine which should work well enough.
