Re: Santorini

Hmm, I‘m also not completly sure about the flower field. Two suggestions: Try to arange the flowers a little bit more random. On some places put more flowers per inch, on some places put no flowers at all. Don‘t know how this would look in the end, but at the moment it looks to „straight“, and not v...

Re: [Blender Plugin] No collision NCP export

I am not 100% sure (I am not in front of my PC so I can test), but I think both (the No Collision -checkbox and the material NONE ) has to be set. However, in my opinion, it would be more user-friendly, when the No Collison is enough to ignore the faces on export. For Non-Re-Volt-Editing-Pros it's t...

[Blender Plugin] No collision NCP export

Hello Marv, I have a suggestion for the Blender plugin: When exporting the .ncp -file, both the checkmarks at No Collision , as well the material has to be set to NONE . Otherwise, the face will still allow collisions. It would be better, if only the checkmark at No Collision has to be set? Example:...

[Blender Plugin] Polygon limit error

Hello Marv, as already mentioned on Discord, I have an issue with your Blender plugin. Just wanted to also create a "official" bug report thread here, for documentation purposes. I am not able to export my level to a .w -file anymore. One of this 2 error messages appears: https://cloud.jungfrau.net/...

Re: Santorini

Awesome work, Alex. The track looked super before, but this shadows put it to another level. It looks very realistic. I also love the blue parts on the second screenshot. Your screenshots show, how important shading is. Sadly some classic level doesn‘t have shading at all. Do you have placed the sha...

Re: RE-VOLT: which plays better, a keyboard or a gamepad?

I also use a gamepad for Re-Volt since 1999. Tapping is also possible and I do it all the time. I am using the D-Pad for steering, not the analog stick.

Some years I used the classic Microsoft Sidewinder gamepad, and after this I buyed a XBox 360 Wirless gamepad.

Re: Wichilie's Project Graveyard

Especially the Rookie Buggy looks very promising. Hope it will get a nice livery. :) Regarding the tracks: The downtown map has a very complicated raceline as it seems, I‘m sure I need some laps to remember everything. The text you wrote for your Tomb-track sounds very interesting. Petra! Wonderful ...

Re: Spa-Volt Diary

I didn't worked much on Spa-Volt in the last time, because I was on a sailing-trip in Croatia for one week, and worked a lot in my garden. But in the last week there was some rainy days, and I spent some hours working on the restaurant area. Or more correct: The sitting-area outside of the restauran...

Re: Spa-Volt Diary

Diary from May 12th 2018. The first time without flying roof... :P Did also a lot of lighting adjustments, and adjustments regarding the glass-parts (which are a lot at Spa-Volt). Normally I should do modelling the missing parts as a next step, but it's so much fun to play around with the lights......

Re: Santorini

Hi Alex, the raceline looks perfect for me - I watched 3 times now, but I have no major concerns about it. The parts you spoke about (narrow path, and straight too long) seems fine to me and give the track some diversity. I like this one jump, and also the last few corners upwards before the end. :)...

When is the track active? I plan a release in autumn/winter 2018. There are still so much things to do, that I think this is a realistic plan. Re: Spa-Volt Diary

Diary from May 10th 2018 I really did a lot of progress since my last diary entry. Until now, I worked more then 100 hours on Spa-Volt. I worked so much the last week, that I didn't take the time to do detailed diary entries. Sorry for that. So I will do some sort of "abstract" from the last days, ...

Re: In game track deletion

This is a very good suggestion in my eyes. My upvote for this! I have exactly the same experience then Pyves. I’m sorting out downloaded stuff regularly, and this is always a very annoying job to do with this sometimes crazy folder names. By the way: More often I have the problem with cars, then wit...

Re: Santorini

According to the screenshots you have already done a lot of work, at least for the part of the track we can see on the shots. Nice details on the houses! What exactly do you plan? A raceline in the middle of a town area, or also offroad/beach or something like this? On the second pic I can see a fen...

Re: Spa-Volt Diary

Thank you very much, Black-Revolt001, Gotolei and Hyperf4g. I might have to actually give it a shot if you succeed. Oh...this is so great to hear. Th...

Re: RV Soundtrack Project

I‘m more and more in the mood for this project. Is this SunVox program Marv mentioned compareable to Magix Music Maker? According to the screenshots it seems so. Blender: Merge unconnected vertics

Hello Blender-Pros, as some of you maybe know, I am relatively new to Blender. After I worked a lot of hours on my level in Blender, I ended in having a lot of "loose" vertics, which are on the same (or nearly the same) position then another vertics, but not connected to each other. (Don't know, if ...

Re: RV Soundtrack Project

Sounds like a good idea, and fun project. I have some experience in doing music (I loved to use Magix Music Maker two decades ago (guess it must be 1997, or 1998), and made some really cheesy Re-Volt style tracks with it), but sadly I have to much other projects at the moment. :? But I will keep it ...
