It is indeed not possible to switch cars without exiting the session. It is something that has been suggested before, but I don't recall the response.

This one still hasn't been fixed. I can understand why you might not want to hardcode carbox.bmp as an exception, though... however, this is inconvenient as some authors, mainly Xarc and MightyCucumber, have a low-resolution carbox by default, and a high-resolution one optional. Interesting. :) You're right, the only good Rainbow Road as far as I know is GBA Rainbow Road, and that's a recreation of an existing track instead of an original design. Thank you, that worked! I had to place the cursor in the spot I wanted the origin to be, and then press Ctrl + Alt + Shift + C. Something that also greatly worked: increasing the FARCLIP and FOGSTART in the inf file! Now I can actually see the entire track and water object without having to fly arou...

You can also import the rogue object (just the .m), and figure out where the origin is. Selections in makeitgood are based on where the origin is, not where the object appears to be (cones, for example, can only be selected by trying at it near the bottom). I think I also got this or a similar adapter a few days ago. It arrived to my parental home, though, and I won't be there for some time. I'll check when I do get there, as if it doesn't work, I'll want to return it.
